AUDITION INFORMATION
(Auditions will be scheduled the first week of school)
VOCALISTS
-
Song 1: "Great Things" by Phil Wickam. You will be asked to lead us in worship with this song. You do not have to sing all of it, but please be prepared to sing all of it. You will be singing to the original tracks without the help of a lead vocal. Lyrics to the songs can be found and printed from that link and we will have a copy in the room if you absolutely need it. However, we recommend that the song be memorized so you are leading us, not just singing to us!
-
Song 2: You will also be asked to sing a song of your choice as well. It does not have to be a worship song and you will not have time to sing the entire song. So please select the part of that song (16-32 bars) that you feel showcases your voice and gives you the ability to best show your expressions and actions. This song must be memorized since we won’t know what song you are singing.
-
Depending on time, We may teach you a simple harmony to a song that we will choose that day. We will help you learn the harmony by playing through it a couple of times and then you will be asked to sing that harmony back to us while listening to the original track with the original singer singing the lead vocals.

We would still love to meet with you and see what you can do on your instrument and give you an evaluation. This is a learning band so don't get discouraged! We want you in the band!
